Production Assembler

Responsible for assembly of mechanical products, fitting and/or adjustment of interrelated parts and/or assembly, adjustment and repair of subassemblies and major assemblies.

1. May involve mechanical operations.
2. Requires use of wide range of hand and power tools, electrical or mechanical fixtures and gauges, standard measuring devices such as micrometers, drills, jigs, fixtures, and light materials.
3. Responsible for inspection and testing of own work and work of others.
4. Job complexity ranges from simple, highly repetitive tasks to fairly repetitive but difficult tasks as experience increases.
5. Other duties as assigned.

Qualification Requirements:

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill and/or ability required.

1. Experience in a manufacturing environment helpful.
2. High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
3. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
4. Ability to utilize common software. Ability to learn new software as required. Work requires willingness to work a flexible schedule.
5. Must be able to lift 40 lbs.
