Production Assembler
Responsible for assembly of mechanical products, fitting and/or adjustment of interrelated parts and/or assembly, adjustment and repair of subassemblies and major assemblies.
- May involve mechanical operations.
- Requires use of wide range of hand and power tools, electrical or mechanical fixtures and gauges, standard measuring devices such as micrometers, drills, jigs, fixtures, and light materials.
- Responsible for inspection and testing of own work and work of others.
- Job complexity ranges from simple, highly repetitive tasks to fairly repetitive but difficult tasks as experience increases.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualification Requirements:
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill and/or ability required.
- Experience in a manufacturing environment helpful.
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to utilize common software. Ability to learn new software as required. Work requires willingness to work a flexible schedule.
- Must be able to lift 40 lbs.
