KTK Thermal Technologies recently received its AS-9100 recertification.
The AS-900 standard provides suppliers with requirements for creating and maintaining a comprehensive quality system for providing safe and reliable products to the aviation, space, and defense (AS&D) industry, as well as civil & military aviation requirements.
To be certified, KTK had to demonstrate to a third-party auditor that it meets the requirements of the standard. The standard is not a product standard that defines product quality or a personal standard – people and products are not certified – instead, it requires organizations to control their processes, so that products meet customer requirements. The certification is good for three years and is recognized globally.
This certification brings benefits not only to KTK’s AS&D customers but to all its customers. AS-9100 brings the following benefits to KTK’s customers:
